Internet is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity. This is one fact that cannot be denied especially for this generation for whom a day without internet is next to impossibility.A seminar was conducted at DSBA campus by Mr. Supreet Garla; Director, NICT Computer Education Pvt. Ltd.Software Division on 1st August ‘17 for the final year students between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm and on 10 Aug’17 for II year students between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm on the ground floor seminar hall.
Mr. Supreet who once had chocolate business later decided to train students in various soft skills and has more than 5000 hours of experience in training students in digital marketing. He was at DSBA to introduce 'Digital Marketing' to students which now has great demand in the market along with making them understand it from a business point of view. He explained that this would be a practical course and the students willing to complete the program under his guidance will not only get a certificate from NICT but also from Google AdWords and Amazon. in
He mentioned that before the internship, 30 hours of training will be given in Digital Marketing. Students will get E-Books; PPt’s and exposure to mock interviews. The benefits accrued by the students will be 2 months internship with Amazon & certification from Google & Amazon. At the end of it, students will end up having a plethora of job opportunities with good pay!
He ended the seminar by emphasizing once again that the present generation has become so addicted to internet that a day without phone and internet is unimaginable to them and this is the very reason why internet has become a necessity rather than a luxury.
