Teachers' Day Celebrations at DSBA

                    Teachers’ Day at DSBA was a celebration mode for everyone!

The final year students of DSBA along with the first and second year students celebrated Teachers’ Day in the college premises between 2:30 pm and 4 pm on 5th September’17.

At 2:30 pm, the students invited the teachers to the seminar hall-Room no. 110 .They were shown a presentation which evoked beautiful memories for the faculty who reminisced their days at DSBA. Rest of the programme was conducted at the foyer of DSBA. Yaseer [III year BBA] & Sajeel [II year BCom] were the emcees for the programme. Yaseer and Sajeel welcomed the Principal –Dr [Brig] Sandes, Dean-Dr Veena K N, HOD-Prof Nikitha Sreekantha and the entire faculty for a fun filled evening.

The students did all the preparations with complete energy and excitement. Faculty were requested to cut a cake especially bought for the occasion. The programme began with an invocation song by Navya [I Year BCom]. Surya [III year BCom] performed an invigorating solo dance. Rifha, a first year BCom student gave a speech thanking the teachers for encouraging and supporting her and the other first year students who are at the threshold of their college life.  This was followed by a group song by Anushri, Jagpreet and Mohsin from First year and Second year BCom respectively. Vishesh Tiwari [III year BBA] also spoke on the occasion, once again thanking the teachers for their constant motivation and guidance. Faiz [I year BCom] mesmerized the audience with his amazing dance moves. Students had organized games for the faculty.

Dumb charades, an ever popular game was played which was an instant hit. Faculty were divided among two teams, headed by the Principal and Dean. It was extremely entertaining, with the teams having to guess the Bollywood movie. Students were extremely efficient at tracking down the time to the last second and some students made sure that none of the teams engaged in foul play. The faculty teams were extremely talented and exhibited a fine display of acting and guessing skills as the game reached a tie .Tie breaker question helped the Principal’s team to win the game. Winners were hailed by the audience consisting of the students –the curious onlookers!

Teachers were provided with sumptuous snacks while Yaseer proposed the vote of thanks.
