SUO Rohan Satish Represents India in Youth Exchange Program at Russia

NCC unit of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy comes under 2 Karnataka Bn, Karnataka and Goa directorate. 

It was a matter of immense pride for NCC unit as SUO Rohan Satish was selected to represent India in Youth Exchange Program [YEP] that was held at Russia from 29^th September 2019 to 7^th October 2019. Prior to this, SUO Rohan Satish participated in the Republic Day Parade at New-Delhi this year; he was also a part of the winning team at the Republic Day Parade- Karnataka and Goa.

Out of 1500 cadets who had attended the parade in New-Delhi this year, 700 cadets appeared for the YEP exams out of which a merit list of 153 cadets was prepared who would represent India in following countries -Kazakhstan, Russia, Singapore, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan. 

The delegation selected for Russia included SUO Rohan Satish. He visited the city of Moscow and stayed there for 7 days and interacted with the Russian cadets and officers, learnt Russian culture and also show cased the Indian culture. His team performed a cultural bit at the embassy of The Republic of India, Russia which was very much appreciated.
