Introduction

I am Rakshith. N studying b.com 5^th sem in Dayananda Sagar Business Academy, and this is my project report about CIL program which is a pre placement trying program which was organized by our collage to help students who will be attending interviews from varies company .our collage not just focus on the academics but they also help us prepare for the real life test that we are going to face out side of the collage .

The CIL program was on 26/NOV/2021 Friday, the program started at 9:30 in the morning, The program was headed by Ranjith. the session started by simple introduction to make us feel at easy he didn’t directly jump in to the session he started my talking to us normally about who we are what are over thoughts about creation things. he insisted that we don’t call him sir but talk to him normally, he said there is no right or wrong answer the most important thing is that we answer try to just have a conversation with him. This made us feel easy and we started having normal conversation about what we are discussing today and what we can get from this program.

1. AIMS

The aims of this program:

• Is to give the student real life experience about the interviewing process.
• Interaction with a real HR and learn how hiring process work.

1. Objective and learning out come

• How to prepare a proper résumé.
• Do’s and don’ts in a group discussion.
• Mock HR interview.

Resume

Starting of the session they gave us a basic format of a résumé. it was something like this.

Name: He started with the name, he suggested that we should write over full name including over ser name, initials so that the name Is presentable.

Phone no: we must keep a professional phone number, which we only use for office purpose, and we need to keep that phone number for at least 10years so that any body who wants to reach you regarding business opportunity they can reach us with out a hitch.

Email: The email name should be professional, and related to your name no non professional email name like “cool dude” etc.

Career objective:

Write about what you will do for the company, what are the skills that you will bring to the company and most importantly use this “I am looking forward to the position to implement and enhance my skills for the betterment of the organization”

Academic summary:

He said to always start with the higher education. in ascending order

MBA, B.COM, PUC,10^th

Core competencies:

Core competencies comes under the personal skills that you have like communication skills, creative thinking skill, computer skills.

TECHICAL COMPETENCIES:

This is about your professional skill like business analysis, accounting, project management etc.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITES:

This is the part of the resume which talks about you, like what are you other than your study and your academics, this is what makes your resume and you stand out from the rest of the applicant. And the things that comes under extra curricular activities are your sports achievement, other noticeable talent.

CONCLUSON:

The resume should be only one page, must be in color, it should be aliened, and it should be about you, not copied from Google and in the end write your date, place of the company and signature.

Group discussion

Group discussion is the second round in the interview, where the applicants are divide into groups and given a particular topic for us to discuss.

How to present your self in the group discussion:

First and the most important thing is the way you sit you should sit up right and your leg should not be crossed and hand right next to you.

Way to talk: start by introduced your self where you are from and when the topic is given stick to one side that means if you are talking about positive only talk about positive don’t change side and don’t be neutral. let other people talk and try to make eye contact with every one while talking about the topic.

CONCLUSION:

After the discussion is over only one must give the conclusion, and the conclusion should be about all the opinions given while discussing about the topic.

HR interview

HR interview is basically the final round of the interview, where you will have direct one on one talk with the hr. over HR interview started by filling up the given mock resume. Then individual they called us for me they asked the question written in my resume such as communication skills so talk about your past. And asked important questions like what helps you focus, what are your weakness, tell me what you are good at and all kind of basic question. sir told us talk real with him so he can understand who we are and how to correct over self, do’s and don’ts in an interview. I had fun giving the HR interview because we gained a lot of experience for this interview like how to present once self, be confiden, answer as many question they ask even if its wrong be confident in your answer.

Conclusion:

We gained real interview experience.

CIL program Conclusion

CIL pre placement program was must needed for us. To gain real life experience about interview. How it actual happen what are the basic requirement that we should have and know before we attend any interview in the feature. we learned how to write a proper resume which was must needed information. becomes most of the people are short listed based on there resume. So try to be as original as possible don’t just copy it from the inter net. the next was the group dissuasion where we learnt how to behave in a group discussion like how to sit and how to speak. And the interaction with the coordinator was at point we felt like we are having normal conversation with him talking about how we are, what are over goal. This was a great experience because we learned not only how we should present over self but also what should we say in a any particular situation, how to present your best self to others. This experience that I gained from this program was must needed and i can guaranty it that this will defiantly help me in the future, so to conclude I would like the thank Dayanada Sagar for providing us with a great opportunity, we learned a lot from this program that we will carry with us when ever we are going into any interview. that is where I would like to conclude my project summery about over CIL program.
