The talk was organized in collaboration with ‘Viveka Hamsa’, a trust that works based on the values of the life of Swami Vivekananda. This talk was a part of a series of 75 events to celebrate the 75th year of independence.

The speaker, Rashavi Venkatesh, adept follower of Swami Vivekananda addressed the gathering of 1st and 2nd year B.Com students for about forty-five minutes. He initially made the audience apprehend Swami Vivekananda’s life journey from an ordinary man to a great monk, with wisdom and moral values. He then gave insights on a few values that everyone must implement in their lives to achieve something in life like Swami Vivekananda; namely, great oratory skills in the English language, the art of time management, grit, and commitment towards goals, and regular meditation. The speaker, an English professor himself, also made us realize the importance of the English language, with due respect to all other linguistics.The session was indeed knowledgeable and inspiring. The art of the speaker to convey sone deep values with real-life examples in both humorous and earnest way.
