DSBA under the aegis of IQAC conducted an orientation for inhouse faculty members on the topic “Outcome based Assessment”. The orientation was conducted by Dr. Veena KN, Principal, DSBA. The Orientation highlighted the following key points.
- Understanding the role of HEI in providing outcome based education and importance of outcome based learning for students, teachers and the institution.
- Overview of outcome based learning in alignment with program outcomes, program specific outcomes and course outcomes.
- Assessment of outcome based learning based on three key elements of concepts, analysis and application.
- At the end of the session Principal Dr.Veena K.N instructed all the faculties members to frame the objectives of the courses handled by respective faculty members .
- All the faculty members were further instructed to assess the learning outcomes of the students by conducting outcome based assessment for the courses under B.Com, BBA and BCA Programs before the end of the current semester.
