Industrial Visit to Pannaga Enterprises

INDUSTRIAL VISIT was held on 19th January, for BBA 3rd semester.were taken to moulding industry PANNAGA ENTERPRISE. Injection Moulding is a process that allows for parts to be produced in a large volumes. So Pannaga Enterprise works on the plastics to manufacture containers specially for HIMALAYA, plunger sanitizer and many more.

This Industrial visit we got to see how industry works in various dimension and aspects. Firstly, there was a little introduction about the industry Then we started off with learning some ideas about what blow moulding and injection moulding is and how it works. After knowing the essentials, we moved forward to see how machines exactly works and how the products are actually produced in injection moulding. After that we moved forward for blow moulding in this industrial visit, we were exposed to the way industry works.

WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THE VISIT

-Starting off we learned how the industry worked during the pandemic and what was the measures that they took at the time of pandemic.

-How they kept their business alive during the time of crisis.

-We learned what do they make and where do they export their product

-The reuse of plastics which reduces wastage

-Regrinding expenditure is a lot so they export the machines from CHINA because its cheaper.

-They buy the products when it’s cheaper and according to the demand they manufacture and sell the products

- This is B2B enterprise and they only deal with other industries but not directly with consumers which makes it riskier than B2C businesses.

- There are only 3 Injection moulding industry in Karnataka.

- We learned how they categorise the workers according to their skills.

So, here we had a great interaction among our self’s and with the teachers and resource person and we got a complete detailed version on how PANNAGA INDUSTRY works.

It was our great pleasure that Mr. Prasanna sir shared his knowledge and his valuable time and showed us how the industry works
