Training on MS Excel - A Report

EXCEL PROGRAM

The excel program was organized by DSBA for the B.com 4th Sem of DSBA students. It was announced to the B.com students as a certification course where it was held on 17th 19th May 2023, the students learnt a lot about excel even the excel lectures Prof Preethi thought the students very well and they had a good experience. Students had enjoyed the 3 days session and learned the excel from the basics.

The students were excited of learning a new course and they were happy with these 3 days of sessions and learnt a lot about the excel and the lectures were happy about the students how they behaved in the class and there was a communication between the students and lectures. They gave attention to each of the students and Students came across many doubts and the lectures cleared all the doubts.

The students are happy and satisfied with this session and also excited for the upcoming session like this. Upon that the excel is a complicated concept to understand on theory by the faculty were smooth and fluent in their work as their way of communication was easy to get through.

23rd May,

This is the second day session where we had a practical session in the lab. We were excited as computer lab now made us remember out olden days in the school. In that we started with the basic of how to open a excel as it was a

long gap. Then starting with we started with the basic of forming a table and creating a perfect combination of rows and column. We must admit that it was hard after a long time.

Then after a couple of hours we started with basic building of tables with the required content by using the short cut keys such as copy, paste and undo. After that we did concentrate on the key areas such as the new ways in the excel sheet that make the word easy and adequate for the corporate use. Then the faculty with the help of the projector show us the way of creating or usage of the advance excel with was a great help to us.

And the way they connect with the student and their approach to us was good. And they had a proper presentation skill where the tables of excel was pictorially represented by them. The class was understandable by that and they were approaching to us in our mother tongue which kept us connected throughout.
