Orientation on Campus Placements

On the 16th of May 2023, a placement training was held for the students of commerce and management presented by the IQAC and the Placement cell of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy by the placement officer, Ms. Geetha Raheja.

Ms. Geetha Raheja started off the session by introducing herself and giving a backstory of her career and the major roles she played in corporate sector as well as in training and grooming students into better communicators and potential employees for the recruiters. She currently works at Dayandanda Sagar Institutions and is involved with the placement cell.

The two hour session from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm for the 4th and 6th semesters was mainly focused on encouraging student to improve their skills. Ms. Raheja made students understand the importance of taking aptitude tests and classes. The students found enthusiasm in the fact that their dream company might just give them an offer if the right amount of smart work is done as per Ms. Raheja’s words. In conclusion, Ms. Raheja set a goal in every students’ mind and gave them a path to travel on with clear instructions. She made the session interactive and took time clearing the doubts of every student. Ms. Raheja’s words motivated the students to perform better and made them understand the importance of consistency.
